Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered a decline by the end of Tuesday’s session for the second time in a week, as the All-Share, Main, and Premier markets went down 0.59%, 0.19%, and 0.8%, respectively.

Boursa Kuwait has registered a distinguished performance in the past time in line with its promotion to FTSE index under which the stock exchanged will enter the emerging markets list in September 2018, deputy head of the investment research unit at KAMCO, Raed Diab, told Mubasher.

Traders at Boursa Kuwait are anticipating for more disclosures by the listed companies for the first half of fiscal year 2018, Diab added.

The banking segment led seven decliners with 0.94%, while the consumer services sector topped four gainers with 0.8%.

Warba Insurance was the top loser with a decline of 7%, while Marakez topped the winners with 16.3%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover grew by 16.8% to KWD 33.76 million on Tuesday from KWD 28.9 million in the previous session after the trading volume increased by 6.3% to 153.54 million shares from 144.4 million.

Ahli United Bank (AUB) Bahrain was the most active stock on which 44 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 9.6 million, the stock retreated 0.93% to 212 fils.
