LONDON- Gasoil stocks held in independent storage in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage rose by 4.5% in the week to Thursday, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed.
* Gasoil inventories rose due to strong imports from East Asia, said Insights Global's Lars van Wageningen.
* Gasoline stocks rose by 1.5%, despite strong transatlantic exports, he added.
* Naphtha stocks dropped more than 30%, as the demand in blending pools was strong, Wageningen said.
* Jet fuel stocks dropped slightly, and demand in the United Kingdom was strong.
