The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has launched ticket sales for the two semi-final matches of the 51st edition of the HH The Amir Cup 2023 through the QFA website.

The QFA has specified two categories of tickets at a symbolic price of QR10 and QR30 per ticket, so that fans of all segments can support their teams in the two matches, and 15 tickets will be drawn for prizes in each match.

The winners will win valuable prizes in the form of vouchers for air tickets provided by Victoria Travel, coupons for purchases of blue diamond jewellery, coupons for purchases from Pari Gallery, vouchers for installing stickers on cars from the Nahdi Group, and iPhone devices. Fans wishing to purchase tickets can visit tickets.qfa.qa.

In the two semi-final matches, Al Sadd will meet Al Shahaniya this Monday in the first match, while Al Sailiya will meet Al Arabi on Tuesday.

The winners of the semis will play the final on May 12 at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.

Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium had previously hosted the final of the 48th edition of the tournament in 2020, which saw Al Sadd beat Al Arabi 2-1, on the day of its inauguration as the fourth completed stadium for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, coinciding with the National Day of the State of Qatar.

During the World Cup, Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium had hosted seven matches, including the Argentina-Australia match in the round of 16, with a capacity of 45,032 fans.

The first World Cup match that it hosted was the match between USA and Wales in the opening round of Group B. It also hosted matches between Belgium and Canada, Wales and Iran, Japan and Costa Rica, Wales and England, and Croatia and Belgium.

The stadium, located in the Umm Al Afai area, is one of the oldest Qatari settlements and is home to Al Rayyan Sports Club.
