Doha: Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain's national carrier, recently celebrated the airline's inaugural service to its two newest Pakistan destinations: Multan and Faisalabad.
The Gulf Air aircraft were welcomed into Multan International Airport and Faisalabad International Airport with acelebratory water cannon salute and, upon arrival, Gulf Air crew joined a number of local media and travel industry representatives, Gulf Air's Country Manager to Pakistan, Muhammad Saleem Motiwala, and the sales and airport teams in both locations for an inaugural event.
Taking the airline's total Pakistan destinations up to seven, Multan and Faisalabadsupplement Gulf Air's current service to five cities in Pakistan: Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, Peshawar and Sialkot. Gulf Air flights to Multan, Pakistan's fifth largest city by population, and Faisalabad, a major industrial and manufacturing hub, are operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft.
Flights can be booked online at gulfair.com, by calling the airline's 24 hour Worldwide Contact Centre on (+973) 17373737, or through any Gulf Air sales offices and approved travel agencies, the company said.
