AMMAN — The Royal Health Awareness Society on Saturday, at the Prince Hashim Park, launched an event on mental health under the theme "Mental healthcare for all: Let's make it a reality", on the occasion of World Mental Health Day.

The ceremony included a short tour on the jogging course to highlight the role of physical activities in improving both physical and mental health, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The event also included a mural shedding light on the important role of individuals in supporting people with mental health issues.

This step is part of the dire need to control the spread of mental diseases, such as depression and anxiety, especially after the outbreak of the pandemic, according to Petra.
