Cairo – The Egyptian ambassador to Kuwait Tarek El-Qouny asserted that the Egyptian authorities began the preparations to receive exceptional flights for Egyptian residence violators in Kuwait along with other stranded nationals, the Middle East News Agency reported on Wednesday.

The repatriations flights are scheduled to run soon in accordance with the capacity of the Egyptian healthcare system, El-Qouny said, adding that priority would be given to women and children.

The ambassador further noted that he is coordinating the move with the Kuwaiti authorities to obtain full data and final numbers of the violators before the deportation process commences.

El-Qouny commended Kuwait for its support and cooperation in this respect.
