Two top Dubai officials have got their first doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.

The jabs were administered as part of the Dubai Health Authority’s (DHA) free vaccination drive against Covid-19. The Government of Dubai Media Office posted photos of the officials receiving the jab on Saturday.

Major-General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) – Dubai; and Khalifa bin Dary, Executive Director of Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation, received their shots.

Last week, Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, received his first shot. On the same day, Abdulla Al Basti, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Dubai; and Humaid Al Qutami, Director-General of the DHA, also got their shots.
