The Oman health ministry on Friday reported 1,889 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,204 recoveries. Eight new deaths were also reported.
Of the new cases reported, 1,268 were Omanis while 621 were non-Omanis.
With this, a total of 53,614 cases have been reported in the Sultanate, while total recoveries stand at 34,225. Total deaths are at 244.
