The Oman health ministry on Friday reported 1,145 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,658 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 1,057 were Omanis while 98 were non-Omanis.
With this, a total of 73,791 cases have been reported in the Sultanate, while recoveries are at 53,007.
Four new deaths were also reported today, taking the total fatalities to 359.
As many as 3,138 new Covid-19 tests have been carried out, the ministry said, taking the total to 290,726.
