The Supreme Committee tasked with dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has decided to ban holding marriage celebrations and mourning at mosques, halls and other public places.

In a statement, the committee confirmed a ban on holding all social ceremonies in public places. ‘The concerned authorities will take legal action in case of violations,’ it stated.
