RIYADH The Saudi Ministry of Justice (MoJ) announced that the number of legal professionals has increased to nearly 18,000 across the Kingdom.

The latest statistics show that registered lawyers have totaled 9,541, including 1,364 female lawyers at the beginning of June 2021.

In addition, the number of lawyers training at law firms amounted to 8,238, including 3,088 female trainees.

Through its Najiz.sa portal, the MoJ extends several e-services to legal professionals, saving their time and effort and sparing them visits to the ministry’s premises.

The e-services include applying for law practice license, renewal of license, registering and transferring trainee lawyer, inquiring about licensed lawyers by name and city, and inquiring about status of applications filed by lawyers.
