The Libyan and Tunisian Posts have entered into a new partnership for the handling and dispatch of international shipments, both incoming and outgoing.

The agreement was formalised during a working visit by a high-level delegation from the Libyan Post to Tunisia, as stated by the Tunisian Post.

The objective of this partnership is to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the two postal services, the same statement notes.

This collaboration will serve to enhance cooperation and facilitate the sharing of expertise and proven practices between the two organisations in the postal services sector.

It will also help advance financial, digital, and logistical services, as well as upgrade human resources through the conduct of training sessions for Libyan Post employees and executives at the Postal Training Centre.

Additionally, the initiative seeks to promote distance postal training, according to the same source.
