Agriculture Minister Khalid Hneifat on Sunday met with the US Department of Agriculture Regional Attache Elizabeth Milo to discuss enhancing food security and agricultural trade and cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, Hneifat stressed that Jordan-US trade is “completely unrestricted, without any obstacles”. Lauding US support to development projects in the Kingdom, he expressed aspiration to cooperate with the US to strengthen the infrastructure of the Jordanian agricultural sector.

Extending appreciation to the US government for continuously offering grants, he voiced keenness to work hand in hand to serve the interests of the two countries.
