Barclays is planning to cut about 20 percent jobs in its wealth management business in Dubai, Bloomberg reports.

According to the news report, the layoffs are likely to include senior personnel as well as support staff. The UK-based lender’s wealth management business currently has about 100 employees.

More layoffs are possible in future, according to people who spoke to Bloomberg on conditions of anonymity, as the layoff plans are not public yet.

Barclays has offered to transfer a few employees to Geneva or London, according to the report.
