Muscat: Teams from the Environment Authority department in South Al Batinah Governorate have cultivated a number of Omani wild trees using a new irrigation method.

A statement issued online by the Environment Authority said: "Within the framework of the national initiative to plant 10 million wild trees, the Environment Department in Al Batinah South Governorate, in cooperation with the city team in Wadi Bani Hani in the Wilayat of Rustaq, implemented the cultivation of a number of Omani wild trees by experimenting with a new idea of irrigation with vessels and ropes."
