Muscat: The Sultanate she achieved 51 per cent self-sufficiency in the production of poultry meat, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has announced.
Director of the Animal Extension and Production Department at the Ministry said: "The local production of poultry meat in the Sultanate reached about 111,000 tons with a self-sufficiency of 51 per cent, while the production of table eggs amounted to 22 thousand tons with self-sufficiency of 62 per cent."
