The head of the UN Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) Nikolai Miladinov said on Saturday, that Kurdistan Region is facing financial difficulties due to the influx of displaced people

from the regions and cities controlled by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria "ISIS" organization north and west of the country.

Miladinov said in a speech at the National Conference of forcibly displaced people , followed by "Shafaq News", that" Kurdistan Region is facing financial difficulties due to the crisis of the influx of displaced people to it. "

Miladinov praised all efforts provided to the displaced people of medicine and food, adding that aid will not solve the problem of the displaced.

He pointed out that Iraq has become the focus of attention of the international community and its partner in efforts to eliminate terrorism

Miladinov added that "the first steps in facing ISIS has been done by forming a new government comprising all components of the people of Iraq."

The head of the UN mission in Iraq welcomed, the decision issued by the Prime Minister , Haider Abadi to stop military shelling in areas where there are civilians and controlled by terrorists of ISIS.
