Dubai: DP World has denied the news on receiving an official offer from the government of Djibouti as a compensation for terminating a contract of operating Doraleh Container Terminal (DTC).

Dubai's state-owned ports operator confirmed that the company did not receive any official offer from Djibouti over a 50-year concession for the DTC, Al Bayan Newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Global news agencies recently reported that Djibouti has offered approximately $500 million to buy out DP World’s share.
