ISTANBUL (Dow Jones)--Turkish construction firm Yuksel Insaat A.S. said Wednesday it has been awarded a tender worth $202 million in Qatar for the extension of the Ras Abu Aboud road, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reported.

The company, which is unlisted, said the project will be undertaken in cooperation with Qatari firm Midmac. It involves the construction of roads, bridges, tunnels, underpasses and water facilities, including sewerage. The project also covers the installation of electricity, telephone and gas infrastructure.

In July, Yuksel Insaat won a tender worth $384 million to build a water pipeline network in Saudi Arabia.

The company has previously completed 16 superstructure and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia for more than $1 billion. It is presently constructing three dams as well as projects worth $370 million for King Faisal University in the country.
