MUSCAT -- A team of popular and highly-rated TV documentary programme, Breaking Point, led by producer Ramazan Ozturk and his crew were in the Sultanate last week in preparation of a special coverage of Oman to be aired on March 3.

TRT.1, main channel of state-run TRT Corporation, TRT.2, and TRT INT (available via satellite) will telecast this documentary.

The Turkish TV crew with cooperation from the Ministry of Information visited Muscat, Nizwa and Salalah to reflect cultural and natural beauties of Oman as well as its economic progress. The documentary will include interviews with some personalities.

Turkish Ambassador Engin Turker referred to TRT team's visit as an extraordinary occasion, which will pave the way to introduce once again Oman with all its successes and beauties to Turkish viewers and to the world. The ambassador recalled that a documentary on Oman was also prepared earlier which went on air last year on a prominent Turkish Private TV Station 'Kanal 7' in three episodes, reflecting the Sultanate's cultural riches-socio-economic achievements and natural beauties.

He added that TV is an influential media for promotion and enhancement of friendly and brotherly relations between people.
