Damascus - Syria has many of tourism basics particularly the cultural ones and Tourism Ministry carried out more than 20 external promoting campaigns in the light of concentrating on the cultural tourism that has a huge percent of the European tourism coming to Syria, Syrian Tourism Minister Dr. Saadallah Agha al-Qala'a said.
Al Qala'a discussed on Monday with Stuttgart Museum delegation headed by Director of the Museum Kornilia Efijlibin means of activating cooperation in the field of tourism between Syria and Germany and the ways to develop tourism basics and external tourism promoting.
Tourism Minister said that the ministry would launch a promoting campaign simultaneous with the opening of the exhibition of /Syria's Treasures...Qatana Kingdom/ organized by Culture Ministry in Stuttgart Museum from 16 October 2009 to March 2010.
For her part, Efijlibin underlined the importance of Syria, its contribution to civilization and the tourism development Syria witnessed during the last years, indicating that the exhibition to be organized in Stuttgart would attract German and European tourists to visit Syria.
