Tenants now finalising office fit-outs after Dubai Contracting’s projects were completed in the first quarter

Dubai The Dubai Contracting Company (DCC) said yesterday it handed over three new commercial towers which were completed in the first quarter of 2010.

These are: O14, a 22-storey office tower in Business Bay; Single Business Tower for DIP, a 45 storey office tower on Shaikh Zayed Road; and Code, a 14 storey office tower in Barsha.

Many tenants are in the final stages of their office fit-outs, while others have already moved in, the company said.

Commenting on the delivery of the projects, Abdullah Yabroudi, CEO of DCC stated: “The completion of these towers is a testament to DCC’s uncompromising commitment to the timely hand-over of all projects. Our team understands our objective of aiming to exceed our clients’ expectations and the entire organisation is fully aligned around this mission.”

O14 boasts an award-winning design by architects Reiser+Umemoto of New York. The tower is built with its structure on the outside to offer a new concept of space. O14 has a perforated concrete facade that acts as the structural support for the tower.

The 45-storey Single Business Tower for DIP (Dubai Investment Properties LLC) designed by Arkiteknik International is the newest high-rise to mark the Shaikh Zayed Road skyline and is strategically located adjacent to the Emirates/DNATA travel centre.

Code, designed by local architects dxb-lab, is a true first of its kind in the Barsha area. Code’s design allows occupants to customise their layouts in a unique manner that maximises their usable space.
