The legal profession is a humanistic calling that defends honour, justice, rights, nations, people, and human causes everywhere.

It is an indispensable ingredient in the practice of law, and in the orderly administration of justice by our courts.

The legal profession is founded on the noble principles of honesty, integrity, efficiency, and proper conduct.

In furtherance of these fundamental concepts, Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry has set up a Business Group for Advocates and legal consultants practising in the Emirate of Dubai.

This Group will be an independent forum and will function alongside other jurist societies and legal committees in the UAE, under the umbrella of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and will enjoy autonomy in matters relating to the affairs of advocacy and legal consultancy to achieve the objectives of the profession by developing and activating the legal profession in the Emirate of Dubai in particular, and the UAE in general, and acting as an intermediary between lawyers and legal consultants on one hand, and the authorities on the other hand, including Dubai Chamber of Commerce, the Courts, Public Prosecutor, and various Government and Quasi Government Authorities, to address the obstacles and difficulties encountered in the legal profession that prevent it from per forming its mission efficiently, by activating the legal profession to administer justice in the society through various means, including conducting training courses for young lawyers, and other specialized courses in various fields, conducting conferences and seminars, and contributing to commenting on Bills of Law, in an attempt to build ties among the legal profession, be it advocates or foreign legal consultant firms practising in the UAE, and to attract maximum number of advocates and legal consultants, to join the Group in order to achieve the objectives behind its establishment, as well as to be the voice of the legal community before the various authorities and the public at large.

Furthermore, the Chamber of Commerce has appointed the following Ladies and Gentlemen, whose names appear below, as the members of the Representative

The nomination of the Founding Members will be for a term of two years and the succeeding Committee will be elected by the general meeting of the Group.
