We brought you the exclusive announcement that a performance of Swan Lake, the classic ballet, would take place next month at Dubai World Trade Centre. Now we can bring you the details of when and how much it’s going to cost you to see the famous work, performed by the Royal Moscow Ballet and organised by Alchemy Project. The company will dance seven performances of the ballet, starting with the opening night show on May 9 at 9pm. May 10 and 11 see two shows each, at 6pm and 9pm, while May 12 and 13 have one show each at 9pm.

“Swan Lake is the most gorgeous, the most famous ballet, best to discover the beauty of Russian classical ballet in Dubai,” said xxx of the Royal Moscow Ballet, a touring company that is bringing 37 dancers to the UAE for their debut performance in the country..

“There are quite a lot people around the world who haven’t got chance to see the Bolshoi, but they can go and visit our theatre, cause we are mobile and a touring project, which means that during the year we give more than 200 performances of the Russian classical repertoire around the world.

The seating plan will be familiar to those who have been to see the recent Cirque Du Soleil shows at DWC: silver seating on the sides (Dh250); two gold areas in front of the stage and slightly to the side, (from Dh300), platinum on the ground on front of the stage (from Dh600, including a three-course meal at Cavalli Club) and Royal seating directly in front of the stage, so close you can smell the chalk on the dancers shoes (Dh1,500, also including a Cavalli Club dinner). Tickets are exclusively at platinumlist.ae, and organisers recommend arriving an hour ahead of showtime in order to get seated. Food and beverages are available at the venue.
