Dubai The number of participants taking part in this weekend’s build-up ride time trial for the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge has doubled since last month’s ride with close to 200 riders expected to take to their bikes tomorrow.
This will be the second of four build-up ride time trials ahead of the December 16 event, giving cyclists a chance to test their training progress.
Tomorrow’s ride will be 45km long and start from Al Qudra Road at 6am.
The last two build-up rides take place on October 28 (60km) and November 25 (80km).
Timing
All timing results are managed and run using the Premier Marathons timing system, giving participants an accurate and reliable result they can use to gauge their progress and all build-up ride time trial results will be posted on the Cycle Safe Dubai website.
Anyone wanting to take part in the second build-up ride time trial must register online at www.cyclechallenge.ae.
The start of tomorrow’s ride is located on Al Qudra road towards Bab Al Shams — 1st turning circle once you cross over the Dubai Bypass Highway.
