Dubai: The second phase of the souq at Qaryat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi is now open and available for lease.
The shopping complex is a joint venture between the Al Jaber Group and the Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC).
The souq opened in October and about 32 outlets are now operational, including Noodle House, Starbucks, Damas, La Perla, Yateem, Veneto, Abdelwahab, Pure Gold and Baskin Robbins.
It is spread over a floor area of 6,222 square metres, comprising both retail and food and beverage outlets.
"We are pleased that phase two of this new shopping development was completed on time for the holiday season. This adds a significant 1,000 square metres of retail space, which is now available for lease," said Fatima Al Jaber, general manager of Qaryat Al Beri Resort Development Company LLC.
Al Jaber said they are currently in discussions with a number of international names in the hope they will bring their brands to the Abu Dhabi market early next year.
