DAMMAM - Samir Al-Fouzan Group (SFG) and Geofizika Croatia signed a joint venture agreement to provide seismic technology and services to Saudi Arabia and GCC oil and gas industry.
Geofizika Arabia, the formed joint venture company, will also engage in giving training to Saudis and other workers in the oil and gas sector and allied industries, according to Samir Al-Fouzan, president and CEO of SFG. Geofizika
Croatia is a leader in providing and transferring seismic technology and operates in a number of countries in the Middle East, including Libya, Syria, and Egypt. "We have had wide experience in the field of seismic technology, having undertaken many projects in the region, including Saudi Arabia," said Dragan Susac, Geofizika director of geophysical services.
Geofizika Arabia will establish field and in-house training centers in Eastern Province for Saudi Aramco and other industrial companies engaged in drilling, according to Al-Fouzan.
