BAGHDAD - Head of the Republican Gathering, Saad Asem al-Janabi, confirmed on Sunday the need to preserve the unity and sovereignty of the country away from the thrills of sectarianism, which is trying to undermine the national unity.
Al- Janabi stressed in a statement today the need to form a national government stemming from the womb of the Iraqi people and the participation of all components and the adoption of efficiency, professionalism and loyalty to the homeland to save the country," noting that political, security and economic stability cannot be achieved, but by National unity and make the interest of the homeland above all interests.
Al-Janabi said that the unity of politicians and the formation of a national government capable of withstanding the concerns of the people and achieve their aspirations and the way that will prevent the terrorists from achieving their goals.
He warned of a scheme designed to divide the country on sectarian and ethnic basis and weaken the country and introducing it into endless conflict, calling on the administration to give the provinces full authorities.
He called for concerting efforts by everyone in order to get out of the current crisis and defeat terrorism.
