Rukun Al Yaqeen International LLC (RAY) bagged a coveted HSE award - 2013 for 'Innovative HSE practice' organized by Oman Society of Contractors (OSC) who diligently encourage contracting companies to improve HSE performance standards in the country through such recognitions.
This award felicitation was held in City Seasons Hotel, Al khuweir on April 22 under the auspices of Ministry of Manpower.
OSC instituted the presentation of awards to the winners at the opening ceremony synchronizing with the launch of Institution of Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH) Oman chapter.
H E Dr Muna Salim al Jardani, Under Secretary of Ministry of Man Power presented this prestigious award recognising innovative HSE practice carried out by RAY in protecting personnel life at the work place.
According to OSC, this particular category of award has been introduced this year for the first time in Oman to encourage innovative practices adapted by companies in Oman in Health and Safety and to promote HSE compliance to the Regulation of Occupational Safety and Health, MD 286/2008.
Dr Ramesh Sivathanu, Sr, Manager - HSE on receiving the award states that Rukun Al Yaqeen is a pioneer in introducing innovative businesses across Oman, now has the privilege and pride to secure this scintillating recognition proving its innovative approach encompassing safe practices too.
