DOHA: Qtel has opened a specialised Qtel Business Solutions Centre in Al Khor, providing access to a network of specialists as well as round-the-clock service and support for businesses in the region.

There are a number of major public projects currently in process in the area - including infrastructure projects - and Qtel is working with the key companies involved to develop a range of business and ICT solutions to support sustainable development. In particular, the ongoing development of the oil and gas sector, and the growth of Ras Laffan Industrial City, has contributed significantly to a burgeoning local economy. Qtel is opening the new Business Solutions Centre to support companies in the area with a wide range of business and ICT solutions.

Part of the strategy behind opening the nationwide network of Business Solutions Centres has been to open facilities as close to economic hotspots in Qatar as possible, to ensure that companies have access to facilities on their doorsteps, and to facilitate communication with clients in the area. The business services at the Al Khor branch will enable local companies to benefit from the latest developments in communication services, with a particular focus on the new generation of mobility, connectivity and around-the-clock security solutions.

The Al Khor business helpdesk is staffed by experts with specific experience in the key economic sectors, including oil and gas. These experts are prepared to provide one-to-one consultancy in the professional and relaxed environment of the Centre.

One of the major offerings of the Al Khor Business Solutions Centre will be daily business ideas and tips for more effective communication and technology services.
