Doha: Qatari property development and marketing company - Panorama Development and Marketing (PDM), signed a marketing agreement with a Canadian company specialised in light gauge steel constructions systems.

Emad M Abujalala - chairman and CEO of PDM, said that his company will actively promote the construction systems of Minaean International Corporation, a public company trading on the Toronto Venture Exchange and based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Light Gauge Steel (LGS) Systems are ecologically friendly, recyclable, and economical and allow for the "quick build" of structures. The technology has been in use since decades in the developed countries and has now interested many big developers engaged in the construction of large integrated township projects in the developing countries.

The advantages of LGS Construction Systems are that they use recyclable materials and deliver high quality, safe and durable, energy efficient cost effective buildings at a much faster pace than conventional construction.

By virtue of using 'dry' pre-manufactured materials, LGS Systems also make minimal use of 'commodities' such as water, cement, sand, clay and other such resources that are in chronic short supply in the developing countries.

Minaean Building Solutions Inc is engaged in Light Gauge Steel Construction focusing on low to mid rise residential and commercial buildings, and holds IP rights to its innovative light gauge steel construction technology trademarked as "Vesta Quik Build" system, both of which are specifically engineered for markets in developing countries.

Emad Abujalala is confident of the value and success of Minaean's systems in Qatar, particularly in light of the present construction boom and the demand and urgent need for various types of buildings especially housing.
