Doha - Family Food Centre (FFC) opened its third and largest outlet in Al Rayyan yesterday. Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Mohammed Khalid Al Mana inaugurated the supermarket yesterday evening.

Indian Ambassador to Qatar Ranjan Mathai, FFC Chairman Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Ansari, FFC Managing Director Abdul Rehman Al Ansari, FFC Executive Director P P Hyder and a host of other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

Built on an area of 5000 sqm the FFC Rayyan branch is one of the largest shopping outlets in Qatar with custom built shopping areas and facilities such as banking and ATM facilities, video library, laundry, pharmacy, coffee shop and restaurant, Abdul Rehaman said at press conference at the new branch on Thursday.

To celebrate the opening of the branch FFC in cooperation with Qatar National Branch is offering a promotion through which a customer may get the entire goods in his trolley free. Only those customers who are shopping using the QNB card can participate in the promotion. These customers while paying the bill can enter a raffle draw and if they win they will get the whole goods in their trolley free of charge. The promotion will run for one week.

The parking area of the outlet can accommodate 200 vehicles.

The focus of the new branch is on fresh products, such as fruits and vegetables, meat, fish and dairy products imported from Europe, Lebanon, Egypt, India Thailand, Burma etc. There is a bakery run by the FFC inside the supermarket.
