MUSCAT -- The Ministry of Tourism yesterday launched a programme to develop Nizwa Fort as part of a working plan to refurbish the Sultanate's monuments, including Jibrin Castle in Bahla and Bait al Rudaida Birkat al Moze and other relics.
Nizwa Fort 4-phase development includes the beautification of the general view, landscaping, the construction of stone passages, building entry and exit ramps for people with special needs, improving the courtyard, water cycles and lighting and the setting up of a gift and handicrafts sale shop.
