MUSCAT -- Port Services Corporation (PSC), which operates and manages Port Sultan Qaboos in Muscat, has reported a 4.5 per cent rise in its net profit for 2010, which climbed to RO 5.598 million from RO 5.359 million a year earlier. Releasing the initial unaudited financial results for the year ended December 31, 2011, PSC said its total operating revenue for 2010 registered a 1.5 per cent increase to RO 19.139 million, from RO 18.862 million in 2009.
Operating profit inched 1.3 per cent higher at RO 8.596 million last year, from RO 8.8487 million during the previous year. Earnings per share were marginally higher at 59 bz at the end of last year, from 56 baisas in 2009.
