BAGHDAD - The virtue (Fadhilah) parliamentary bloc announced that "the meeting of the National Alliance yesterday was positive and discussed the mechanisms of activating the alliance as a first step to shaping the next stage."

The head of the bloc, Ammar Tohmma said in a statement today: "all parties expressed their adherence to the National Alliance, and emphasized the work to develop it to be an effective institution ," adding that "the Charter of electoral Honor included a paragraph referring to the continuation of the political body of the alliance in its work until the formation of new political body."

He noted that the meeting reached to form a committee to prepare an internal system for the alliance includes mechanisms and standards for the management and decision -making.

The political body of the National Alliance held a meeting yesterday evening chaired by Prime Alliance Ibrahim al-Jaafari to discuss the bylaw of the alliance and upgrades it to suit the next stage .

A statement by Jaafari's office cited that "the political body of all its components, with the presence of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, discussed the electoral experience," considering the success of the elections as a national achievement for the Iraqis, according to the statement.
