Damascus - Prime Minister Mohammed Naji Otri on Sunday stressed Syria's keenness on offering necessary support to Iraq in the fields of building and development based on the fraternal ties that connect the two countries.
During his meeting with Iraqi Minister of Energy Wahid Kareem Hasan, who conveyed a message to Otri from his Iraqi counterpart Nori al-Maliki on bilateral cooperation relations and means of developing and consolidating them in various domains.
Talks dealt with means of cooperation in the fields of water, generating electricity and exchanging expertise on the levels of training and rehabilitation and electricity linkage.
"Importance of benefiting from the available potentials and resources to meet the developmental and services needs of energy in the two countries", was also underlined.
