MUSCAT -- The Oman Society of Contractors (OSC) is organising one-day seminar on health, safety and environment (HSE) titled 'Meeting the challenges of HSE today'.
The seminar to be held tomorrow aims at creating awareness on the modern trends and campaign for the cause of HSE.

Speaking about the seminar, OSC, CEO, Salim Talib al Sheedi said: "The seminar is being organised as a prelude for the two-day HSE workshop to be held on April 23 and 25." "The seminar will be addressed by eminent HSE experts and consultants. Infrastructure growth and industrial development has spurred the need to give top priority to HSE in the work environment," he said.

The seminar will cover topics like, 'Influencing H&S decision making' by Gordon Blake; 'Challenges and the way forward' by Mubarak al Dawoodi; 'Office ergonomics and management of chemicals' by Khalifa al Maskary; 'Challenges of HSE in the power' by Ahamed al Subhi; 'Improving and sustaining HSE performance in a competitive business environment' by N Porchelvan and 'IOSH the professional body' by Peter McNair.
