Muscat: Three-day Omani products fair will be opened on Sunday in the wilayat of Al Rustaq in the Al Batinah south governorate.
The fair is organised by Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) as part of a series of fairs in Omani product campaign named 'Omani' for 2012. The opening ceremony will be patronised over by Sheikh Hilal bin Said Al Hajri, governor of Al Batinah south governorate, in the presence of a number of walis, officials from governmental units, industrial sector representatives and Omani businessmen.
As many as 70 companies from different economic, productive and service sectors from within and outside Public Establishment for Industrial Estates.
The fair aims at enlightening the citizens and expatriates on the quality of Omani products and their ability to locally and internationally compete, encouraging costumers, whether individuals or establishment to buy products and services locally manufactured, and raising awareness of the importance of buying Omani products and their direct contribution to strengthening the national economy.
