MUSCAT -- A 16 member Omani delegation left for Cologne, Germany, to participate in the Anuga Food Exhibition 2007 to be held from October 13 to 17. Anuga Food Exhibition is organised by KoelnMesse GMBH, Germany, (www.koelmesse.com/ www.anuga.de) a leading food exhibition in the world, which targets importers from all over the world including Africa, Arab countries and GCC. Faris al Farsi, Acting Director General of Export Development, said OCIPED has booked 60 square metre of exhibition space (fully built-up) and five Omani companies will be participating under "Oman Pavilion".
AATCO LLC, Mehdi Foods LLC, Nizwa Food Industries, National Biscuit Industries Ltd SAOG and Sun Packaging Company LLC will be displaying Food condiments, Potato chips snacks and juices, Fruit jam, jelly, Cream Caramel, Custard Powder, Honey, Biscuits, wafers, snacks and packaging materials for the food industry. A matchmaking meeting has been arranged between the Omani exporters and the European importers on October 15.
