BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)--State-run Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Co., or Orpic, expects its Mina Al Fahal refinery to resume operations within days after a recent limited fire, Muscat-based Al Watan daily reports Wednesday.

The halt in the refinery's operations won't affect the oil, diesel and jet fuel supplies, Orpic said, according to the paper. The fire didn't cause major damages and has been put out which will enable the maintenance team to complete the repairs within days, the company said.

Orpic has another refinery located in the country's Sohar industrial port in addition to two petrochemical plants there, the daily reports.
