The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will organise a seminar titled 'Economy development in the governorates of northern and southern Sharqiyah' in the wilayat of Sur on Tuesday.

The seminar will be held under the auspices of Sheikh Abdullah bin Mesthail bin Salim Shamas, Governor of South Sharqiyah.

The seminar will explore means of developing the national economy by attracting investors and new capital. The seminar aims to find avenues to best exploit the resources available in the governorates, besides generating job opportunities.
