ABU DHABI, March 20, 2006 (WAM) - Oasis International Leasing, the AbuDhabi-based big ticket leasing company, is to hold an Ordinary GeneralMeeting (OGM) to resolve outstanding issues resulting from the company'srecent Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The OGM will be held on Sunday April 9 at five p.m. at the Hilton Hotel,in Abu Dhabi. If the requisite quorum is not achieved, the meeting willbe rescheduled for Sunday April 16 at five p.m. at the Hilton Hotel,according to a press release.
Oasis Leasing had a very successful year in 2005, with the company'snet profits growing by more than 255% to AED 28.1 million, compared withAED 7.9 million in 2004. Revenues were up by 6% at AED 187.3 million.
Gordon Dixon, CEO, Oasis Leasing expects similar growth rates in 2006and 2007. "The benefits of a number of deals completed in 2005 will showduring 2006 and we expect to announce further deals in the coming monthsthat will contribute significantly to the company's growth."
