New technology to introduce remote meetings were tested yesterday at the Southern Municipal Council.
It comes as part of plans to shift the council’s weekly meetings to video-conferencing from April 8.
Bahrain’s three municipal councils – Northern, Muharraq and Southern – and the Capital Trustees Board are seeking to hold remote meetings for the time being.
