BAGHDAD - Iraqi National Forces Alliance said that the people of the hotspots prefer the nomination of Adel Abdul-Mahdi, or Ahmed al-Chalabi to become prime minister in the next government.
The MP, Abdul Kahar al-Samarrai said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency that his alliance, in response to the desire of the people of those provinces, will vote to support any candidate presented by the National Alliance, except the current Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
He added that Abdul-Mahdi and Chalabi have admissibility and compatibility of all blocs and other components inside and outside the National Alliance.
He pointed out that these two characters are luckier than other names that have circulated by the National Alliance.
Al-Samarrai said the Iraqi national forces Alliance will study the government's program of any alternative candidate presented by the state of law coalition, except Maliki, to consider the possibility of a vote on passing his name as prime minister or not.
He re-emphasize that the components of the Iraqi national forces alliance is committed to reject the third term for the current prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki in the case he is named as a candidate for the National Alliance under any circumstances.
