KUWAIT, Sept 2 (KUNA) -- The National Bank of Kuwait Sunday announced launch of new chip credit cards for all clients offering top-level security and secrecy within the overall process of improving services.
Group General Manager Adel Al-Majed said the new smart card provides protection against counterfeit and lost and stolen credit card fraud. He added that in addition to the higher level of security, the innovative technology behind the chip card also provides both merchants and card-holders greater convenience at points of sale.
The bank intends to replace all existing credit cards with the new chip credit cards, he pointed out.
The new card comes with advantages including "Free Travel Insurance, Watani Rewards Program, Credit Card Raffles, Global Access to credit card through Watani Online, and much more," an NBK statement said.
