BAGHDAD - The head of the Arabia coalition, Saleh al-Mutlaq said: "The / Union/ Alliance that formed by a number of winning forces will be more than 80 seats."
Mutlaq said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The new alliance will be non sectarian; and also will have a significant impact in determining the new political map."
He added: "The next two weeks will witness the election of the political council comprising all parties of this alliance, and will elect a public body composed of the ministers, in the event of participation in the next government, and will also include political leaders of this alliance."
He explained: "The political bureau will have the power to interrogate and hold ministers and officials belonging to the alliance."
He said: "The participants in the coalition have agreed to bypass the mistakes that occurred in the previous Iraqiya coalition, through developing items and points to cement the alliance."
He made it clear that : " After the completion of the formation of the political body, the General Authority and the restoration this alliance , we will head towards the other political forces to form a grand coalition that will work to form the next government ."
A leader of (United for reform Coalition), Salim al-Jobouri announced yesterday evening that a new bloc called / Union of Forces National / was emerged and includes his coalition, Arabia list, Fidelity to Anbar and Iraq alliance as well as other winning blocs in the elections in the six revolted provinces.
Jobouri said contacts are continuing with the National Coalition led by Iyad Allawi, to join the new Coalition.
