Nissan Middle East has decided to appoint Mindshare to handle the Nissan and Infiniti Pan-Arab media planning and buying business across the Middle East and North African region.

Following a pitch that included four agencies - Mindshare, Carat, Inter-one and the incumbent agency OMD - Mindshare has been granted the accounts for Nissan's passenger cars, sport utility vehicles and light commercial vehicles range, in addition to the luxury Infiniti brand.

"I'm so proud to have such a passionate team around that made it happen," said Elie Haber, Managing Director of Mindshare regional office based in Dubai.

"This was a multi-layered pitch that tested the agency on multiple parameters. We are honoured to have won the Nissan account considering its strategic importance and we are committed to deliver on our promise."

Monal Zeidan, General Manager Marketing andCorporate Communications at Nissan Middle East, said: "As a leading automotive brand in the region, Nissan Middle East is confident that Mindshare would add value in communicating our 'shift the way you move' message to the Middle East audience".

Mindshare had upped its game on all fronts, following the global remodelling of its business where the agency considered its remit to be beyond just media planning and buying, extending across the marketing communication spectrum, emphasising on media innovations and branded content.
