LG promotes use of dual inventer technology in AC to save energy

Offers 60% faster cooling with high energy efficiency

IN response to the Saudi Energy Efficiency Centre call for adopting the most efficient air conditioners while suggesting “split conditioners” as the best in energy saving, LG introduced dual inverter technology which offers 60% faster cooling with high energy efficiency. It also consumes 53% lesser energy as compared to conventional air conditioners. Some of the key features of this technology are quiet cooling, gentle air, dual protection filter and automatic cleaning, and a smart display that allows users to check the functioning of the air conditioner easily.

LG has awarded Dual Inverter air conditioners to the winners of “Time To Save” campaign that was launched in July. The campaign continued until the end of August. Over 2,000 individuals have participated in the campaign since its launch from different regions of the Kingdom. Dual Inverter technology is the ideal solution for air cooling at temperatures as high as 65 degrees Celsius.

Eddie John, LG Electronics Saudi Arabia Managing Director, said: "The campaign has been successful in achieving its objectives with an overwhelming response from consumers, especially as the campaign coincided with summer as well as the recent developments in tariff for electricity consumption, which has played a major role in providing effective solutions to reduce consumption as well as to address the misuse of energy. We at LG believe that we have come up with the perfect solution to address the existing problem. And we will continue to provide solutions in line with the Kingdom's 2030 vision to increase the efficiency of air conditioners by 35% by 2020."

He further added: “Avoiding wastage and using electricity responsibly helps lead a better life, which is what LG has been striving to achieve here in the Kingdom by helping consumers reduce their energy consumption through the latest technologies. Today it is essential to set high product standards, as in the case of developed countries, and produce energy efficient air conditioners, thermostats and other equipment and parts, that conform to the advanced standards."
