The real world will be captured in paper models at a special 'Make it in Paper' workshop being held in Lamcy Plaza this week.
Setting the tone for the academic year, it forms an introduction to paper sculpting or the art of raising flat paper into shapes.
From animals and airplanes to balloons and snowflakes, the workshop hosted by Books Plus will engage youngsters in creating fantastic life-like shapes out of plain paper.
Make it in Paper' will demonstrate the basic techniques of the craft to young enthusiasts daily between 6.30 and 8pm. The workshop will enable children to not only explore their creativity, but also have fun while learning the decorative art.
Another interesting activity at Lamcy Plaza that will add a fresh flavour to the forthcoming year is a demonstration of 'Lunch Box Recipes' hosted by Rainbow Milk. Participants will receive free Rainbow Milk products and gifts.
Free nutritional advice for children will also be offered by dietician Lovely Ranganath from Al Zahra Hospital. Other activities at the mall include painting workshops and character shows.
