CAIRO  - Kuwait's state refiner KNPC said on Sunday it had begun operating low-sulphur diesel production unit 144 at Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery, the company spokesman said to Kuwait news agency.

"Its production capacity reaches about 45,000 a barrel of diesel daily," KNPC spokesman Abdullah Al-Ajmi said.
